Downtown Culver City’s Third Wednesday

‘Tropical Staycation & Spiked Tropical Punch Tasting’

Downtown Culver City “Third Wednesday Tropical Staycation & Spiked Tropical Punch Tasting” — Downtown Culver City is the perfect place to get away without any of the stress of traveling. Say “Aloha” to summer, which means hello and good-bye, with samples of spiked tropical punch (non-alcoholic samples available for the under-21 set), live music and more. Look for the balloons between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. to identify participating restaurants, bars and retail outlets. Check in at any one to get your “Third Wednesday Passport” — then get it stamped each time you sample a tasty treat. Make your way over to the Kirk Douglas Theatre, enjoying live music in the streets along the way. There, you can turn in your passport to be entered in a raffle to win summertime prizes (no purchase necessary). Don’t let summer pass you by without a ‘staycation’ in Culver City’s Downtown area, Southern California’s best kept secret with its wonderful mix of historic buildings, boutiques, theaters, galleries, and unique restaurants opening on to tree-lined streets. Free parking is also available for up to one hour in any of Downtown’s three municipal parking structures. Or just leave your car at home — Uber or Lyft downtown, or take the Metro’s Expo line to the Culver City Station.
