Downtown Culver City invites you to cool off with three hot
3rd Wednesday ‘Taste of Summer’ events in June, July and August

CULVER CITY, Calif. (REVISED May 11, 2017) — Downtown Culver City turns up the heat this summer with three crowd-pleasing Third Wednesday tasting events. Back by popular demand, this year’s free ‘Taste of Summer’ includes a “Spiked Lemonade Tasting” on June 21; “SummerTini Tasting” on July 19; and a “Centennial Grand Finale Taste of Culver City” on Aug. 16.

Look for the balloons between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on the third Wednesdays of June, July and August to identify participating restaurants, bars and retail outlets throughout the Downtown area. Each participating business will have a unique and delicious sample to try.

Pick up a Third Wednesday “passport” at your first stop, then get it stamped each time you cool off with a unique taste or sip (virgin options available for the under-21 set). Make your way over to the Kirk Douglas Theatre, and enjoy live music in the streets along way. There you can turn in your passport to be entered in a raffle to win summertime prizes.

Take advantage of Downtown Culver City’s universal valet parking system: cars may be dropped off at any one of four convenient locations, then picked up at another. Free parking is also available for up to one hour in any of Downtown’s three municipal parking structures. Or just leave your car at home and take the Metro’s Expo Line to the Culver City Station.

Summertime is the best season to explore Downtown Culver City, with its wonderful mix of historic buildings, one-of-a-kind boutiques, galleries, theaters and unique restaurants opening onto tree-lined streets.

Downtown Culver City is located just south of the 10 Freeway and east of the 405, between the intersection of Culver and Washington Blvds and Duquesne Ave.
