Jeffrey Nordling, Jocelyn Towne, Vivienne Sievers in
Antaeus theatrical podcast of fantasy thriller ‘The Changeling’

 

LOS ANGELES (September 21, 2022) — Following the company’s breakout success with The Zip Code Plays: Los Angeles podcast series, Antaeus Theatre Company returns to the podcast-sphere with a free audio theater recording of The Changeling, an emotion-packed fantasy thriller by Antaeus LAB playwright Jennifer Rowland.

Set in an enchanted forest, The Changeling introduces us to estranged couple Ann and Daniel, who return to a deserted cabin on the anniversary of their daughter’s mysterious disappearance — the event that destroyed their marriage. As a storm moves in and the electricity goes out, a mysterious child appears. She looks exactly like Angelica at the age of eleven… but their Angelica would now be eighteen.

Multiple award-winning director Cameron Watson, who has previously helmed Antaeus productions including Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Picnic and The Little Foxes, directs Antaeus company members Jocelyn Towne (The Hothouse, The Little Foxes, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof) as Ann and Jeffrey Nordling (The Autumn Garden, Uncle Vanya) as Daniel. Vivienne Sievers (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof) plays Angelica. Jeff Gardner (The Zip Code Plays) returns in the role of audio producer, sound designer and Foley artist. The Changeling was adapted for audio by Rowland from her stage play The Lost Child, which was produced at the Skylight Theatre in 2017.
