A Noise Within’s ‘Noise Now’ community engagement series
partners with TheatreWorkers Project to present ‘Unmasked’

WHAT
A Noise Within’s “Noise Now” community engagement series presents Unmasked, an original, devised work by TheatreWorkers Project inspired by visual images of the diversity of Los Angeles County. TheatreWorkers Project, which provides opportunities for underserved and unheard individuals to redefine and reframe their personal narratives through theater, movement and writing, will collaborate with formerly incarcerated and justice-impacted members of Cal State LA’s Project Rebound community to develop this original theater piece based on poetry and prose written by the participants, who will perform the work. A discussion with the audience will follow.
