Aloe Blacc kicks off 2016 Signature Series
at newly renovated Ford Amphitheatre

pairs world renowned performers with
L.A. County artists for one-of-a-kind experiences

WHAT:
Ford Signature Series: Aloe Blacc — The Ford Signature Series gets summer off to a magical start when world renowned singer/songwriter Aloe Blacc brings his distinct, soulful artistry to the newly renovated Ford stage. Joined under the stars by Los Angeles based guitarist Woody Aplanalp; local Brazilian guitarist Fabiano do Nascimento; East LA-based son jarocho band Cambalache; soul/rock fusion group The Brothers Band; and avant-classical punk power trio The Concentrates, Blacc will perform his own arrangements of songs by Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Joni Mitchell and other music icons of American social movements of the past and present.

$30, $50, $70

PARKING:
Parking at the ford is stacked and costs $5-$10 per vehicle for evening performances. New off-site parking location: a FREE shuttle services the parking structure located at 1710 N. Cherokee Avenue in Hollywood. Parking is $10 for Ford patrons. Shuttle departures begin two hours before show time and reservations are required. Metro riders: a FREE shuttle picks up from the Universal City/Studio City Metro Station (3913 Lankershim Blvd, Studio City 91604). The shuttle, which cycles every 20 minutes, stops in the “kiss and ride” area.

• The Ford Signature Series pairs world renowned performers with Los Angeles County artists for one-of-a-kind experiences. The program is made possible through the generous support of Los Angeles County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl. Original program created with support from former Los Angeles County Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky. Proceeds from the Signature Series benefit the Ford Theatre Foundation, which supports programs at the Ford Theatres in Hollywood and throughout Los Angeles County.
